BALVATIKA

Balvatika was introduced as a pilot project in the year 2022 at PM Shri KV No. 3 Faridabad. The school is currently running a kindergarten with three sections. Presently we have a total strength of 120 students in all the three sections of the school.
Balvatika is a pre-primary education program for children aged 3 to 6 years that is run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). The program’s goal is to prepare children for academic pursuits by developing their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
Here are some key features of the Balvatika program:
Play-based learning: The program uses play to help children develop the skills they need to learn to read, write, and develop number sense.
One-year program: Balvatika is a one-year program that takes place before Grade 1.
National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines: The program is implemented in accordance with the NEP 2020, which emphasizes the importance of early education.
